Choosing the right products for your space
Browse our website to select your products and download our handy Bathroom Planner. This will help you assess if you have appropriate space for the products you’ve chosen.
Make sure your chosen products will fit in with your plumbing system by confirming the measurements and room plan with your plumber.
Planning the delivery & installation
You’ll need to ensure your items are ordered in time to be delivered before the 1st fix plumbing.
Request a date for the 1st fix plumbing from your plumber and work back from that date to determine when you need to place your order.
Allow at least 8 – 12 weeks lead time for bespoke items.
Once delivered, check products are complete with no damage. You have 7 days after delivery to inform us of any damaged or missing items.
It’s a good idea to have your plumber double-check everything with you and then they can order any special connections or fittings needed to help the installation run smoothly.
Taking delivery
Safely store your goods in a secure space such as a spare room or garage, and make sure they’re clearly labelled, especially if you are having more than one bathroom installed.
In this way, it is easy for the plumber to regularly see and check measurements and fittings on your products whilst working on your project. Keep all fitting instructions and product specification manuals to hand. We recommend filing these in a labelled folder from the outset so you and the plumber can easily refer to them. It will also come in handy if you come to sell the property to have these manuals ready filed for the future owners.
Having the items on site in plenty of time also enables your plumber to purchase plumbing adaptors if required.
When the plumber is ready to set up the pipes, it is important they reassess the products in storage and double-check all the measurements. We strongly recommend carefully bringing the products into the bathroom and positioning them so you and your plumber can check the configuration works.
It is vital that all products are then re-checked for damages or missing items before being safely stowed away again until the plumber is ready to install them.
You don’t want to get to the final installation phase and realise a vital piece has been lost and could take several weeks to replace.
Installation and final touches
Before commissioning your new system and fittings, ensure your plumber flushes through the water system to remove dirt and debris from the pipes which could otherwise get lodged in your flow cartridge.
Whilst your plumber is still on site, check all the fittings work perfectly before giving them a final clean and wax polish to protect them.

Safely file away all the product information and product specification manuals. You will need these to order spare parts in the future and to refer to cleaning instructions. The plumber should also supply isolating valve locations.
And now it’s time to stand back and admire your new Chadder & Co. bathroom!
